MWE and the Carlos Morgado Foundation participate in on the joint meeting of Village Development Committees (CDA).
The meeting at the Metuge District administration building was part of a social cohesion project implemented in collaboration with the Aga Khan Foundation in Mozambique.
During this gathering, presentations covered the current situation, dreams, and achievements of various CDAs, as well as information about the involved partners and their ongoing projects, including the local government. It became evident that, despite challenges, communities have played a pivotal role in advancing socio-economic development in the region. The exchange of experiences among participants was enriching.
Furthermore, this meeting served as an opportunity to introduce the project “Energy Transition Hubs as a Vehicle for Universal Energy Access, Women’s Empowerment, and Peace in Cabo Delgado,” and to highlight one of its components, the Solar Giraffe
