The Carlos Morgado Foundation made a visit to the province of Inhambane with the intention of exploring opportunities of the Solar Giraffe project installation.
The visit made to Cupo, Funhalouro district, included members of the Carlos Morgado Foundation, local governments and community members who will benefit from the services.
During the visit, the community communicated its greatest difficulties while the local government made themselves available to support the installation. The implementing team presented the project and the schedule of activities.
The project, to charge cell phones, listen to the radio and offer public lighting, is developed and implemented by the Carlos Morgado Foundation and installed its pilot project in Mangunze, Chongoene, Gaza in December 2020. For more information: Solar Giraffe
