Carlos Morgado Foundation and MWE engage the Saul 2 community within the scope of the Solar Giraffe project financed by IOM.
The engagement with the community of the resettlement neighborhood called Saul 2 in the District of Metuge aimed to consult its members about the place to be installed Solar Giraffe financed by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
At the fruitful meeting, several members of the community heard the potential of the project, expressed concerns and together the most appropriate location to carry out the installation was decided.
The work team, including IOM staff, had to guarantee numerous times that, barring unforeseeable events, the project will actually be installed in Saul 2 – “we really need this Giraffe,” said one of the community members.
