The purpose of the award is to contribute to the discovery and projection of new literary voices in Mozambique.
Entries for the 1st edition of the Carlos Morgado Literary Prize are open from March 15th to May 15th, 2023. Mozambican citizens residing in the country or abroad up to 35 years of age may apply.
The award is instituted by the Carlos Morgado Foundation and organized by Catalogus with the aim of contributing to the discovery and projection of new literary voices in Mozambique, including the celebration of Carlos Morgado's contribution as a Mozambican citizen and defender of noble causes.
